Too $hort Too Short is an Oakland rapper and one of the first rappers associated with the West Coast style. He is known as the Godfather of Bay Area Hip Hop and best known for bringing the pimp culture into rap. Short's 1986 album 'Born to Mack' went gold, followed by his platinum CDs 'Life is Too Short', 'Short Dog's in the House', 'Shorty the Pimp', 'Get In Where you Fit In', and 'Getting It'. Too Short now owns his own record label called Up All Night Records and has starred in an adult film. He continues to release top selling music, including his popular single 'Blow the Whistle' which received widespread radio play. |
